Premise[]
In this blog I calc'd strength needed to crush the rock in Tetsucabra's mouth. Kulu-Ya-Ku has a similar feat, so I'll calc that here as a little side note thing.
Calc[]
Once again we'll be comparing the Kulu's boulder to the size of the Hunter. This one is relatively small, so I'm not expecting anything big from this.
We'll be using this frame for comparison.
Using ImageJ to compare size, we get 3.66 feet for the diameter of the boulder (111.557 cm). Halving this and plugging into the equation for a volume of a sphere, we find the volume is roughly 7.270 x 10^5 cubic centimeters.
Low End Calc:
20 j/cc x 727000 cc = 1.454 x 10^7 Joules, Wall level
High End Calc:
69 j/cc x 727000 cc = 5.016 x 10^7 Joules, Room level
Tallies[]
Small, easy calc.
Kulu-Ya-Ku Smashes a Boulder (Low-End): 1.454 x 10^7 Joules, Wall level
Kulu-Ya-Ku Smashes a Boulder (High-End): 5.016 x 10^7 Joules, Room level
