Doctor Doom (Marvel Comics) can steal the powers from beings as powerful as Galactus, taking Galactus' powers for himself and rendering Galactus powerless.
Power Absorption is the ability to take powers away from others and give them to either oneself or others. The power loss usually temporarily and the victims naturally regain their lost power, but some users may be able to absorb powers permanently.
This power acts as a combination between Power Mimicry and Power Nullification, in which the user steals a target's ability, rendering them unable to use it while gaining acess to it. The user's copied abilities may be inferior to the original's, or maybe retained only for a short period of time, but others can actually improve upon these powers.
