The Arch-Vile is considered one of the most difficult monsters to deal with in the DOOMverse, primarily due to its ability to bring fallen demonic soldiers back to life. As seen above, they are extremely durable, fast, and strong, be it physically or through another means. It was considered a notable missed opportunity when they did not appear in DOOM 2016.
